Flagship-Level Suction and a Fully Automated Dock, Without the Camera Premium

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 5 carries the same 20,000Pa suction and dToF smart retractable radar as its Pro sibling, giving it the power to deep-clean carpets and the low 9.5cm clearance needed to slide under furniture other robots can't reach. Navigation runs on S-Cross structured-light and triple laser obstacle avoidance, keeping the robot from getting stuck on cables, shoes, or pet toys during a run.

Edge and corner performance is a strong point here too: the extendable side brush and mop pad close the gap to 0mm along walls and reach 100% into corners, while ultrasonic carpet detection automatically lifts the mop 15mm so rugs stay dry. An anti-tangle dual-blade brush picks up 99% of hair, cutting down on manual cleanup between runs.

The all-in-one dock takes care of maintenance almost entirely on its own: 80°C hot-water mop washing with dual rotating scrapers, two hours of hot-air drying, and automatic dust collection into a 2.5L bag that only needs emptying every 75 days. A 4L water tank keeps the mop supplied through extended cleaning sessions, and everything connects through the Xiaomi Home app with Alexa and Google Assistant support, plus a child lock and OTA updates for long-term reliability.
